Stream Today & Jay-Z Is Undefeated

What’s poppin y’all,

I’m planning on streaming today, most likely around noon. If not then, expect it around 1 PM or 2 PM—somewhere in that gap. I want to listen to the PND album, and looking at the tracklist, it seems like a long one. 21 tracks, including a 6-minute closer, is no joke. Because of that, I might push the underground listening stream to another time to make sure we give PND the proper attention. Hoping it delivers something I can enjoy.

On another note, Jay-Z just proved once again why he’s one of the biggest power players in the industry. The lawsuit against him got dropped, and that could’ve been a serious chink in the armor if more people had tried to come out against him. But this is exactly why Jay-Z has always moved differently.

Unlike Diddy, Jay-Z never got cocky. He never tried to play the lone wolf or burn bridges with powerful figures. Instead, he’s always built alliances, positioning himself strategically while never making enemies out of the wrong people. That’s paid off in ways most people don’t even realize.

That’s not to say Jay-Z has done anything terrible—but let’s be real, people from that era have stories. The things that were normal in the ’80s and ’90s could be seen as criminal today. No one had the foresight to think that far ahead back then. While this particular case was BS, the fact that nothing else came from it just goes to show how locked-in Jay-Z’s position really is.

And let’s not forget—his company played a role in putting Tory Lanez behind bars. Just something to think about.
