My guilty pleasure (bhad bhabie beef)
What’s poppin y’all,
Listen, I’m gonna share a secret with you. I am completely invested in this Alabama Barker and Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) beef. I shouldn’t be. We shouldn’t be. But if I’m being honest, this is pure unfiltered entertainment and hip-hop beef at its truest level.
For those out of the loop: Alabama Barker, daughter of Travis Barker—the Blink-182 legend who’s worked with countless hip-hop artists—is actually a decent rapper. All jokes and irony aside, her skill isn’t bad at all, especially for her age. That being said, Bhad Bhabie had a rap career at one point, but now she’s filthy rich off OnlyFans.
The beef started from… well, I might actually make a full video breaking down the entire situation, but they’ve had their back and forths. About a month ago, Bhad Bhabie dropped a weak diss track called Overheated—no music video, nothing special. Alabama Barker fired back with Cry Bhabie and actually delivered. Now, Bhad Bhabie has responded, but this time, with a completely different face—literally.
She’s gone through a lot of surgeries and unwanted "rearranging" courtesy of her baby daddy, who is also a major factor in this beef. In her latest diss track, Bhad Bhabie is sampling the background vocals from Carnival by Ye, Rich the Kid, and Playboi Carti. The music video even features someone playing drums who looks exactly like Travis Barker—which, let’s be real, is some next-level trolling.
Lyrically, she’s going all in, throwing shots at Alabama Barker, accusing her of getting passed around by an NFL team—which, let’s be honest, doesn’t really add up considering Bhad Bhabie has been getting passed around the industry since she was 12, 13, 14 years old. We’ve seen a slew of rappers have their way with her, legal or not.
But I have to admit—this new Bhad Bhabie track isn’t bad. It’s way better than her first diss, which was straight-up garbage. At the very least, we’re getting real rap beef—actual diss tracks, not just IG stories and TikTok shade. I’m definitely interested to see where this goes next.
Song of the Day – Pressure by MGK
Lately, I’ve been running through some MGK music. A couple of days ago, I gave you guys another MGK song, then yesterday it was Big K.R.I.T., but today’s pick is Pressure.
Let’s see what happens next in this beef. I’ll catch you all tomorrow.
