Tory Lanez’s Rollout Begins?
What’s poppin y’all,
Tory Lanez is taking full advantage of his situation, and at this point, it looks like we're heading toward a rollout for a new project. Otherwise, I don’t see why he would be making these moves.
The first major step? He finally spoke out about his guilty conviction—and he did it on the Full Send Podcast. Now, I have no idea why he chose Nelk for this. Their audience largely doesn’t care about Tory Lanez. Many of them probably don’t even know who he is, and frankly, I’m tired of the whole “I didn’t do this” narrative. The evidence is out there, the jury made its decision, and if Tory really wanted to call out the actual shooter (for those who believe Kelsey was responsible), he had plenty of chances to do so. But he didn’t.
Most likely, he didn’t want to be seen as a snitch or thought he could beat the case—but that obviously didn’t work out for him, and now he’s doing time. At this point, it just is what it is. He had the opportunity to prove his innocence if he truly was, and he chose not to.
Meanwhile, PartyNextDoor is now being left in limbo, unsure if Tory is about to come at him next. Tory’s been teasing something there, though it's unclear what his angle is.
If he really wanted to make a bigger impact, doing an interview with Akademiks would have made way more sense. That would have spread further within hip-hop, directly reaching the people who actually care about what’s going on with him. Instead, he went with Full Send—a strange choice, but hey, it’s his life.
More updates coming soon.
