A$AP Rocky’s Should've Been In Handcuffs...

A$AP Rocky must be the luckiest man in all of hip-hop. I had someone comment on my IG post, "This is why you bet on yourself." If that isn’t the funniest comment I’ve ever read. Tory Lanez bet on himself, and he’s sitting in a California prison cell. He would have been roommates with A$AP Rocky. Or A$AP Rocky would have been roommates with Tory Lanez. We could have gotten a collab mixtape. That’s what I was looking forward to.

Nah, I’m just joking. You guys, if you’ve been with me for a long time, you know that A$AP Rocky is top 10 rappers, for me, that I enjoy listening to. I wouldn’t rank him top 10 of all time, but if you’re asking me who some of my favorites are, A$AP Rocky’s up there. And that’s why I’ve been so disappointed in the past five years with him doing damn near nothing.

And I for sure, in my soul, believe he’s guilty of this. I believe he did it 100%. What rapper do you know is walking around with a starter pistol? But the fact that he beat it just goes to show what I said weeks ago, or maybe even a month ago—I didn’t feel in my gut that A$AP Rocky was going to prison. I just didn’t feel it. So against all odds, he doesn’t take a plea deal and he ends up winning, which is a massive accomplishment.

Now hopefully he can get it together because I know Vlad is already on the phone with A$AP Relli trying to get him on an interview, because this is the biggest failure of all time. You got up on the stand, you pointed at your mans, like your day-one mans. Not like 6ix9ine, who clearly just got in with these guys for business and marketing and the look of the gang. Like, these guys were actually cool—and you lost? What an embarrassment.

At least 6ix9ine got off of 45 years, got a career back, and made millions of dollars. You’re broke, you’re about to continue to be broke, and you lost whatever reputation you had. Well, you built a reputation, because nobody knew who A$AP Relli was before this. He wasn’t even like A$AP Illz or Bari or one of these other guys, or even Nast or Ant. Shout out the Merino gang.

So this will give us some great developments for the rest of the year. And A$AP Rocky—if he doesn’t drop music and bars gloating about this... like, A$AP Rocky is a flex rapper. He’s a confident rapper. He needs to step all over this. This is his year, and he was given a blessing by God and this jury to have a fresh start to his career.
